Jenks Senior Hannah

Hannah makes me wish that I was about half my age (and that she wasn’t moving) so that we could be friends. She’s very comfortable and confident in her own skin; she’s a stylish lady with a hint of quirk to her- someone my teenage self would have loved to hang out with. Needless to say, we had a blast during her senior photoshoot experience!! We laughed a lot, we joked a lot, and we told stories a lot!

… it’s a new adventure …

Like I said above, Hannah is moving to a new town and a new school, just for her senior year. I can’t imagine having to start over at the very end but she is taking it like a champ. She talks about it like it’s a new adventure in this thing we call life and she’s already decided that she is going to make the most of it. Which means she won’t technically be a Jenks senior next year but I think being a Trojan will always have a special place in her heart. Hannah’s dad got a new job which means the whole family is moving. During her photoshoot Hannah’s sweet, sweet mom was researching houses, looking for a place they can call home in a few short months. It’s very easy to see where Hannah gets her awesome personality from- her mom was so great through the whole photoshoot!!

During the planning part of Hannah’s photoshoot, she said what might be the sweetest thing a client has ever said to me!!!! Since she was moving, she wanted to schedule her senior photoshoot soon so that she could have me do her senior portraits. WHAT? I was so honored and giddy at the same time! It’s clients like Hannah, that really want to work with me, that make my job so easy and extremely fun!

Greek Goddess meets Secret Garden

Hannah had her photoshoot at Gilcrease Museum, in Tulsa, Oklahoma because she loved the Senior Model Group Photoshoot location and wanted her photos taken there too! Two phrases came to mind during the tail end of Hannah’s photoshoot (this will date me!): Greek goddess meets Secret Garden. Gilcrease has amazing and lush grounds and Hannah in her white flowy dress, long gorgeous hair and no shoes makes me think of a Greek goddess. She was stunning in her photos!

Um… are these even real?!

UPDATE: At the end of her senior year, I had the honor of photographing Hannah again for a Graduation Photoshoot.

Also, a very recent maternity photoshoot that I did at Gilcrease. I LOVE that huge tree on the lower part of the grounds. It’s absolutely a fabulous spot to photograph.

Your posing skills–all the heart eyes! And the light is dreeeaaammyyy! Love these!

  2. […] Hannah used a clear umbrella and wore a flower crown with a long, flowy, white dress to create a magical and more editorial feel to her images. Adding special items like a vintage bike or bouquet of flowers are a few great ideas as well! […]
