Four hours before I needed to leave for a photoshoot, I found myself rushing to two different Kohl’s stores to purchase five clear, bubble-style umbrellas because the forecast consistently called for rain. And I couldn’t let a few rain drops interfere with a photoshoot I planned for months. Don’t get me wrong, these umbrellas have been on my business wish list for years, but I never had an actual reason to buy them… until now. I planned for months to create the perfect photographic whirl-wind experience for five senior ladies who create my senior model team this year. And as mush as I wanted the weather to cooperate for me, I really, really wanted the weather to be perfect for these five ladies.
…I got chills when I read their applications.
These ladies applied to be part of the ah Productions senior model team and through several rough rounds of elimination of many, many, and many applications… these five ladies were the cream of the crop. I have said it before, and I will say it again: I chose them because I got chills when I read their applications. I chose them because they inspired me to hustle more. I chose them because they are accomplishing great things at the age of 17 and I wanted to gift them an awesome experience for their senior years. I wanted, more than anything, to serve them the way they serve others.
I’ve had senior models before but never have I ever pulled off a group photoshoot quite like this one! The ladies hit it out of the park from their instant friendships, endless giggling, and inspiring work ethic. These images are a testament to how wonderful they are on the inside, and beautiful they are on the outside. This is the first time they have seen so many of their images in one place; I am so excited to share these with them and with their worlds.
…they were jazzed and ready for a snowy day photoshoot.
Each of them will be senior model rep for ah Productions during the end of their junior year, over the coming summer and into their senior year of high school. This is the only required group photoshoot we will have this year. However, after hours of modeling, even though they were so exhausted, they were ready to schedule the next photoshoot. Right there, in the middle of the Gilcrease gardens, as the sun had set on us, they were jazzed and ready for a snowy day photoshoot. Can you believe it? They had that much fun! You know what though, I did too!
We did get to use the new umbrellas, but, thankfully, not because it was raining outside… because the ladies were so excited to use them!

Hailey is absolutely divine in her individual senior photoshoot as well!
The day before her graduation, I was honored to photograph Addie for a Graduation Photoshoot!
