From travel blog posts, to spring themed weddings, stuff about my dogs, and photoshoots at Philbrook Museum, you never know what you might find here!

Gone are the days of changing your clothes in the car, behind a blanket, or running to the nearest gas station during a photoshoot. New to ah Productions is a pop-up dressing pod, which can be used at a moments notice, anywhere, and anytime!! … … This bad boy, POP, made its debut during Rebecca and Murray’s recent Maternity photoshoot

One of my absolute favorite time-wasters is walking the aisles at a good vintage mall or antique shop. I may not purchase anything but I sure LOVE looking! Every once in a while, when I decide to take a few hours of ‘me time’ and go visit a store, I have to weigh my choice between the solid stores I know and always find great things at, or an entirely new adventure.

Throughout our home we have authentic African wood carvings that either my father-in-law or husband has brought home from the southern countries in Africa. Most are stained with shoe polish as opposed to typical wood stain and some of the carvings are made from a very fragile kind of wood. This makes cleaning a delicate process…

This last weekend I was digging through some of my old family photographs and had the idea to share some of my early, early photography work. When people ask me about why I started photography … It wasn’t until I was older that I realized this is simply how my brain works, how my eyes see the world, how I remember special moments; all in images.

She kisses him softly on his face as he starts to calm down. Having her there soothes him and fixes whatever was wrong with his world.

In addition to photographing I have another love, decorating. One thing that made me fall in love with this house is the corner mantel and fireplace. For all the faults this design creates for the rest of the room in seating and such, I just love the deep mantel and the space it gives me to create anything my heart desires.
