A Romantic Oklahoma City Proposal

The walk must have been much shorter than he imagined, or maybe nerves got the best of them and they were walking onto the stage faster than normal. They walked to the stage and he turned to her, finished what he was saying, and dropped to one knee. Instantly, I lifted my concealed camera to my face and captured Greer’s expression as Colt asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Of course, she said “yes!“ After he proposed and they chatted for a bit, he said “I still had one more stanza left!” We all laughed and he told her he had the whole thing written down in the car for her. What an amazing, romantic Oklahoma City proposal!

I had been working with Colt for months to plan his proposal to his college sweetheart, Greer. He wasn’t nervous, he was excited to propose to her and very much looking forward to being engaged to her. So adorable! After Greer said yes to Colt, I did a little engagement photoshoot for them. It was so great to get to see him with her, and meet her; she’s just the sweetest thing! And Greer puts a smile on Colt’s face that is undeniable… these two are a true match.

Colt walked Greer from the edge of Bicentennial Park along a tree-lined pathway, holding her hand, toward the outdoor stage in front of the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City. It’s the perfect outdoor spot to get engaged! It was their own real-life stage, just the two of them!

Colt,

Thank you so much for the honor of capturing this amazing moment for you and Greer! After the excitement calmed down, you said to me “As soon as I could hear your camera clicking, then I knew everything was going to be okay!” I love that!

Greer,

You are the sweetest thing! I enjoyed getting to meet you and can easily see why you make Colt so happy! I’m willing to bet that you will make an amazing partner in life and a wonderful wife!!

Congratulations to you both! I sincerely hope that you love the highlights from your proposal!
