Jerin Family Photoshoot

This past spring was difficult for Oklahoman’s everywhere; myself included! Spring took forever to arrive and when the flowers started to bloom and the trees came back to life… they. took. their. sweet. time. It seems like most springs are here over night but this last one was like none other that I have experienced. So when my out of town clients scheduled a photoshoot for mid-April, my thought was “it will be the perfect weather for an Oklahoma photoshoot,” oh boy, was that the opposite!

It was cold. The sun made being outside barely tolerable but still, very cold! Abby and Jacob were okay with trying to do a family photoshoot and see how long their one-year old son would tolerate being in the cold… He’s one. He’s not used to the Oklahoma version of cold. Not only that, but he’s teething and constantly drooling ever so slightly.

They were awesome! The photoshoot lasted 17 minutes because no one could stand it anymore and my ‘make baby happy’ techniques were starting to lose instead of win. But who can blame him, it was cold! But the Jerin family absolutely rocked their Oklahoma family photoshoot, they smiled big, they laughed a lot, and it looks like a perfect spring day! We stayed right at the entrance to the Linnaeus Teaching Gardens inside Woodward Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It’s a perfect little spot with year-round beauty and has been landscaped to perfection!
