Booker T Washington Senior Kate

She was at home thinking about the people in the world that are really hurting and the charities that are designed to help them. Kate thought long-and-hard about how her talents could be put to use in an impactful way to help raise money for charities, as well as bring awareness to their causes. She bought herself an iPad and started drawing and designing stickers. Shortly after, she created Stickcares: Stickers for causes you care about, and then she put them up for sale on her Etsy shop. Click here to see her shop and support a cause! Her goal is to eventually support a wide variety of cases and charities, because she finds personal joy in supporting who the stickers are created for.

One of the most important things to Kate is her dog Rizzo; when Kate asked if she could have her in a few photos during her photoshoot… my answer was immediate- YES! Rizzo is an energetic 2 year old pup who absolutely adores Kate and wants to be with or near her at all times! Kate told me that she almost lost Rizzo to a very rare disease, she’s on the mend now but I can tell when Kate talks about Rizzo there is a softness and love in her voice. Their connection is so sweet and it is very easy to see that they are the best of friends.

Kate’s photoshoot started in downtown Tulsa, stopping in the Blue Dome District because Kate, as an artist, loves all of the murals and the vibe there. Then we went to Woodward Park where we met Ms. Rizzo and Kate, if you can imagine, finished her Senior Photoshoot Experience with her beloved dog by her side.

Kate,

I adore your compassion for others and your gentle willingness to help them. I can even see this in the way that you care for and love Rizzo. She clearly loves you back just as much and is so content to live the rest of her life by your side! I enjoyed getting to meet you both and capture some amazing photos of you together. You were wonderful to work with during your photoshoot and I hope that you enjoy the highlights from your session!

One thing that was a must for Edison Prep senior Catherine? That her sweet girl Delilah be able to join her for a few photos during her Senior Photoshoot Experience. Give me all the dogs!

I loved exploring downtown Tulsa with Union High School senior Kimberly! We found some new places that were so beautiful. The one thing that topped the beautiful weather and sunlight was Kimberly’s outfits- WOW! She looked amazing during her senior photos!
