Oklahoma Weather Photoshoot with Broken Arrow Senior Nicole

The forecast called for thunderstorms and rain three days in a row.  On each of those three days I had Senior Photoshoots lined up. The first one had to be rescheduled, the second turned out to be perfect weather, and for the third? Nicole decided she wanted to “go for it” and see if we’d get good weather ; she wanted to at least try! When we met at Centennial Park in downtown Broken Arrow, surrounded by clouds, the air was thick, humid, and felt like rain. As soon as I met her on the corner I said hello, asked her how she was, and if it was okay to skip the normal chit chat time and make the most out of every moment we had before it started raining. She didn’t hesitate and was up for the challenge! “Yeah! Let’s get started.” Awesome! It was atypical Oklahoma weather photoshoot with Broken Arrow Senior Nicole; it was cloudy one minute and then cleared up into beautiful sunshine the next!

It started to sprinkle 35 minutes into Nicole’s two hour long Senior Photoshoot Experience and we were on the other end of Main Street in Broken Arrow from where the cars were parked. We covered our heads and dashed back to the cars. As we travelled from Broken Arrow to Centennial Park in Tulsa, we drove through a big gray rain cloud, and arrived on the other side to find golden sunshine.

I walked away from Nicole’s photoshoot thinking about how I am so blessed to have some of the best clients in the world. Nicole must have said “I trust you” and “whatever you think is best” a dozen times during her Senior Photoshoot Experience. She was willing to try anything that my inspiration led me to suggest and never once questioned the spot I put her in, her pose, or when it started to sprinkle… she stayed in her pose until I said, “let’s run for it!” Working with her and her sweet momma, Tabitha, over the course of her photoshoot experience was so much fun. They are both incredibly welcoming, supportive, and encouraging people.
