Arrow Springs Chapel Garden Themed Wedding in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

The bridesmaids were escorted by the groomsmen up the aisle and I heard the chapel doors shut behind me. There was a quiet moment just before the music became more noticeable and the guests stood up from their chairs. I saw his face start to change and although I couldn’t hear them open the doors or see her walk into the chapel and into his line of sight, I could see the expression on his face intensify. He was both standing so proud and melting, all at the same time. His anticipation to marry the love of his life was clear for his family and closest friends to see. Just as the guests stood up, they looked away from John and toward his bride Mercee as she started walking toward him. They missed that he pinched his lips tighter together to hold back his tears as she started to take her first steps down the aisle. It was one of the sweetest moments at the Arrow Springs Chapel garden themed wedding for John and Mercee in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

In watching John shower Mercee with love during their first dance, I knew what she had said about him during our consultation was absolutely right; she told me that he treated her like a queen and on their wedding day he really did! John and Mercee were married at the Arrow Springs Chapel in Broken Arrow. Mercee planned a summer garden themed wedding where she brought beautiful florals inside so that her wedding guests could be comfortable for their wedding day. Her and her mom had carefully arranged the florals themselves to match the gold, white, and blue tones that were all around them. One of my favorite details was the wedding favors that Mercee created, which were small bags of delicious popcorn with a tag that read “thank you for coming to our premier!” John really loves movies and so Mercee found a way to incorporate some of his love for movies into their wedding day as well.
