Jenks High School Senior Megan

We stood on the sidewalk in downtown Tulsa, both of us fighting the constant Oklahoma wind as it was blowing her long, beautiful brown hair in every direction. As we put her hair in its proper place, she was in the middle of explaining her dreams of becoming a doctor. She has a carefully constructed list of well thought-out reasons of why she wants to be come an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor. It was such a specific answer to my question of what kind of doctor she wanted to be that I had to ask why. If I had to guess, based on her prompt answer, she has definitely been asked this before. She has a clear vision for the coming year in her life but she did explain that even her clinical could introduce her to a field of medicine that she loved more. Megan showed me that she’s determined and reasonable, logical well beyond her years, but that she’s also not at all inflexible to the experiences that life may bring her. I remembered being in awe of this wonderful and bright Jenks High School senior!

Megan was a joy to get to know during her Senior Photoshoot Experience! She participated in show choir in high school and so we had fun with her posing and used that to introduce some movement to her images. She also has a very keen fashion sense, especially when it comes to earrings and shoes! I kept asking her where she bought everything because she is dressed so cute and she kindly told me all of her secret places to find the best things.

Megan’s Senior Photoshoot Experience started in downtown Tulsa, incorporating some of the old building architecture and the nearby parks. She loves flowers and greenery so we had to try and add that in wherever we went! After downtown Tulsa, we traveled to Gilcrease Museum in the upper garden area where the sun was glowing perfectly for golden hour. It was a beautiful spring night in Oklahoma, and it made up for having to reschedule due to the pandemic and then a thunderstorm-all worth it!
