Jenks Senior Alex

After driving down a very long gravel road, we pulled up to a simple metal building; Alex grabbed her second outfit and the three of us went inside. Instantly, I heard an ensemble of “oink” and “baaa” from the animals inside the barn. Alex left to go change while Sharla walked through the animal pens to find Nova. I followed right behind Sharla, through the barn, to find the sweetest little lamb wearing a medium blue coat. As soon as Alex walked up behind her mom and I, already talking about the lamb, Nova greeted Alex at the gate and stood right where she needed her to be.  Alex clipped her to the edge of the pen and removed her coat. I mentioned to Sharla how impressed I was that Nova just knew what Alex needed her to do. Alex moved in such a way that made sense to Nova. Watching those two was like watching two friends getting ready to play.

Alex’s photoshoot was my last senior photoshoot for 2019 and even though we were days away from Thanksgiving, the weather was perfect and so full of sunshine! Her velvet black dress was a beautiful match for the first part of her photoshoot at the white Jenks Pedestrian Bridge in Jenks, Oklahoma. Alex wanted to honor her Native American heritage in her photoshoot and so she wore a pair of white beaded, handmade earrings that Sharla bought. A perfect pick for the black dress against the white bridge. Even though Alex and her mom, Sharla, have both grown up in the area, neither one of them had been to the walking bridge. It was a special treat for them and a great occasion for their first visit! After stopping at a few spots along Main Street in Jenks that were full of fall color, we headed to the Jenks High School FFA Barn.

Alex,

I really enjoyed spending time with you and your mom during your Senior Photoshoot Experience! You are so welcoming and funny; I really liked chatting with and getting to know you! I loved getting to meet Nova and watch you interact with her. The way you take care of her is so sweet and it’s easy to see how responsible you are with her. I know you will have a bright future at the University of Arkansas and will do well as you continue on into the world of commodities trading. I can’t wait to see all that you accomplish!! I hope that you enjoy looking at the highlights from your photoshoot!
