Victory Christian Senior Grace

I was instantly struck with a thought I had been searching for; they’re like the Gilmore Girls! Rebecca has a fun personality, just like Lorelai Gilmore, and Grace is so sweet with an inner strength like Rory. Watching Grace and her mom, Rebecca, interact throughout her photoshoot was very reminiscent of the dynamic duo from that early 2000’s TV show. It was beautiful to see mother and daughter both excited and engaged throughout the whole photoshoot process: from group messages planning out Grace’s outfits, to the very end of the night where Rebecca said she had just as much fun as Grace did. They are quite a pair and have a friendship that I know is cherished by both.

Grace is such a sweet senior and I just adored working with her to plan and capture this moment in her life. She is a beautiful young lady and I loved seeing her confidence grow as the photoshoot progressed. Sometimes I ask my seniors to do some very odd or random things to get amazing shots of them, and Grace was willing to take my lead. She was wonderful at everything I asked her to do and trusted me to make her look as fantastic as she felt! It was a very fun and creative photoshoot.

This Victory Christian senior started her photoshoot in downtown Tulsa, in front of the historic Bank Building. Grace wanted to focus on a few of the churches downtown and, of course, the beautiful tall buildings. She looks like a movie star: dressed in red, in front of the white stone church. After downtown, we went to Utica Square where that red jumpsuit she was wearing begged to be in front of the Anthropologie pink wall and only Grace could pull it off! Finally, we had some fun with the more natural elements at Utica: the vines, trees that are changing color, and the green lawns full of freshly turned leaves.

Grace,

Thank you for an amazing fall night! I enjoyed your excited spirit and willingness to follow any direction I gave you- you rocked it all! Your electric smile and beautiful kindness can be rare in the world and I pray that you always keep them. They are very much part of who you are! You are awesome! I hope you love the highlights from your shoot.

While the locations may stay the same, my seniors are all unique and I try to photograph them differently from one another! My senior Model Emeline had locations very similar to Grace, however, I think their images still look very unique to each of them! Check out Emeline’s blog post and tell me what you think!

Hailey’s amazing sunrise photoshoot is one I will not soon forget! The balloons downtown were what really sold me! Check out this Victory Christian senior’s blog post!
