She has a sweet smile that will light up any room and a model stare that absolutely slays. Instantly after meeting this Tulsa Central High School senior, Daja, you’d find out the first part: she’s naturally smiley, friendly, and sweet. The latter part you might not see until you get to know her more. Daja is very mature for her age, and although she’s shy and takes a while to warm up to people, I believe Daja would be friends with anyone. She has become quick friends with several models on my team and you wouldn’t know she’s a naturally shy person. 

One thing that impressed me from Daja’s Senior Model Team application was that she danced in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in 2019! As a kid I would watch the parade on TV and think how cool it would be to be a part of that famous event. Daja worked very hard to earn that unique opportunity and she has become the captain of her school dance team! She also enjoys volleyball, pom, NHS, being Co-President of student council, and, if that’s not enough, she also won Outstanding Student for the years 2018 and 2019.

For Daja’s photoshoot we started at Centennial Park with the faint Tulsa skyline outlined in the background. She really wanted fall colors to be included in her late September photoshoot and we couldn’t believe that we found some! I think fall came early this year, just to grace her photoshoot. After  Centennial Park, we traveled to Woodward Park, where she fell in love with the classic look of the Mansion and wanted some photos on the stone back porch.

Your photoshoot was something of a fall-inspired dream and I was looking forward to it all week. I knew you were going to nail every pose and we’d have so much fun! I have really enjoyed working with you and am glad that you are on my model team! You are so sweet and have a wonderful personality.
