A French-Country Styled Engagement Photoshoot at Pecandarosa Ranch in Owasso, Oklahoma

“If you would have told me in the fourth grade that Tess Hardman was going to marry Wyatt Daniel, I would have told you ‘No way, we’re just buds!’” She laughed as she told us the story and then she looked at him with so much love in her eyes. Her childhood dream had come true, she just didn’t know it would be with a friend she’d made from grade school named Wyatt Daniel. The funniest thing is they went to school and were friends through senior year in high school and didn’t start dating until after they graduated. They dated all the way through college, and a while after they graduated, Wyatt proposed to Tess.

I met Tess and Wyatt for a styled engagement photoshoot at Pecandarosa Ranch in Owasso, Oklahoma. Pecandarosa just built a beautiful, spacious, dreamy new indoor wedding venue and I am so excited to be one of the photographers who can say they have shot there! Beth Hanson Photography hosted a wonderful wedding workshop and photoshoot and the day started with Tess and Wyatt’s styled engagement photoshoot. (More from this day to come later!) They drove three hours to come model for us and it was worth every mile!

This first part of their engagement photoshoot is a French-country themed shoot with a picnic on the front porch of a cottage that ends with a walk through the countryside. All of the details that were planned for this shoot are out-of-this-world lovely. I might go a little overboard with this post but can you blame me? Also, this was the first shoot with my new 85mm lens (for those of you who know camera language): it takes very creamy and dreamy looking portraits (for those of who are thinking what is an 85mm lens?!?!). These two have obvious chemistry; they’re beautiful, natural in front of the camera, and really awesome and sweet people. I hope you enjoy, maybe more than ‘just a few,’ highlights from their photoshoot.

Don’t miss Madison and Noah’s fairytale wedding at The Hidden Porch. Doesn’t she look like a princess on her wedding day? Goals!

Katie and Dywren’s wedding day was full of personality, details, and so much love. It’s easy to see why their wedding was among my favorites from 2019!

Are you engaged and looking for an engagement photoshoot? Or a wedding photographer? First, congratulations!!! This is such an exciting time for you!!! Check out my wedding photography page for more details on my photoshoot experience!
