Jenks Senior Ruth

Never in my life have I had a senior, an 18-year-old young lady, tell me “God bless you, your family, and your work” at the end of their photoshoot, until I met Ruth. Through our conversation during her Senior Photoshoot Experience I learned that to serve is at the core of everything she wants to do in life. Serve others on this earth, showing His light and His love and to have His will in everything that she does. Ruth has spent years working with children with special needs of all ages throughout high school. She loves helping and teaching them, and so she plans to follow this path into a career. The way she talks about the children she has worked with, her heart for serving them, how she ties it back to her faith, and her dreams for the future- it is all so incredibly inspiring! Listening to Jenks Senior Ruth is simply fascinating!

I’m not sure what I expect from someone who is from New York but Ruth is probably the farthest thing from any stereotype I see on TV. Being an incredibly sweet, kind, and gentle person, Ruth is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! If I needed a friend to uplift me, support any dream, or someone to look on the bright side with, Ruth would be that friend!

Ruth’s senior photoshoot started in downtown Tulsa on a warm spring evening. We hit all of the classic spots that downtown Tulsa has to offer for backgrounds in the city. Ruth brought her cap and gown so that she could have a few photographs to celebrate her graduation. We then went to nearby Woodward Park where Ruth changed her outfit one more time to her favorite: a pink and white floral dress. It matched the scenery perfectly!

Ruth,

I know you will grow up to be an excellent teacher for children. You have a gentleness about you that will draw in those children and allow you to be a beautiful light for them, and a graceful example of love. I wish you all the best in your journey and I know you will do well! I hope you enjoy the highlights from your senior photoshoot!

Meaghan’s Senior Photoshoot Experience was full of locations that I’d never shot at before including Main Street in the small town of Sperry, Oklahoma. Click here to see the all of the fun places we went to!
