As I rounded the corner of 3rd and Boston Ave in downtown Tulsa, I saw a young lady standing in an adorable black jumpsuit, waving at me. That must be Katie I thought, although I was too far away to be certain. She looked stuck, like she wanted to move but couldn’t walk forward and that‘s when I noticed another woman bent down next to her, tending to her pant leg or shoe strap. I hesitated for a moment and then almost looked behind me. Did she wave at me? It turned out to be Owasso Senior Katie and her sweet momma Kelly who was fixing a little wardrobe issue, but I will never forget the laughs we had about it. I really wasn’t sure if I was walking up on something I wasn’t invited to- were these strangers? Or my photography clients?

I absolutely enjoyed working with Katie (and Kelly); we laughed so much during her Senior Photoshoot Experience! Katie goes to school, has a job, and has been a student athletic trainer for the past 4 ½ years! Her to-do list is impressive and I wonder how she finds time to sleep!! She’s a student athletic trainer for all of the major sports, not just one, which means she helps out the different sports teams year round from the heat to the cold, in the sun and rain. While she loves being an athletic trainer and hoped that it might lead to a career, she is starting to consider chiropractic care, where she will be everyone’s favorite doctor! Katie is so sweet, friendly, and kind; I think she would make a great doctor, trainer, any kind of professional that provides care.

Katie’s Senior Photoshoot Experience started in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma because she fell in love with the gold trimmed building. After hitting a few more awesome spots in downtown we went to Gilcrease Museum where Katie had one wish… to have photos of her sitting down in the much loved tall grass field.
