I said to her “I want to do something kind of odd.” I asked her to stay right where she was as I giggled and ran to get my step stool. I had her stand under a low hanging tree that was ripe with red fall berries. She was facing me and I placed my step stool right in front of her. Climbing up to the top step, I put myself right in the thick of the tree branches; I carefully brought my camera up to my face weaving it through the branches of the tree. The super sweet Lincoln Christian Senior started to snicker as she watched me battle the tree branches and arrange them around me. By the time I was ready to photograph her, we were both laughing so hard! My excitement got the best of me and I started telling her how amazing these were going to be (in my best singing voice) and thanking her for trusting me.

Madison will be graduating from Lincoln Christian in Tulsa, Oklahoma this coming year, class of 2019. While planning her Senior Photoshoot Experience that was at Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, she casually mentioned that she doesn’t have much free time because she is in the running for Valedictorian! She’s smart, sweet, and enjoys a good laugh! But she’s also very kind and a extraordinarily hard worker as she listed for me all the other activities that she’s involved in like softball, managing a girls basketball team, Communications Chair on her Student Council, National Honor Society President, she volunteers at her church, oh! and, she hopes to be the Mayor of the Broken Arrow Youth City Council. No big deal. I am constantly impressed by the amazing seniors I have the pleasure of working with and Madi is absolutely no exception. She is beyond humble about what she is achieving so early in her life.
